Food to be taken in Monsoon
In Monsoon, our digestion system can become Subdued. This means that we should take that kind of which is easily digested. In this season, the hot food is more favorable. Cold food, Stale food, fried food, and the food which is heavy in digesting it, should not be consumed.
Hot Chapatti, hot soup, green salad, pickle, papad and juice are good for us in this season. Consuming Rice, khichadi in this season should be done less and if you want to consume rice then it is better to use old rice. Sprouted Mung, Ragma, Chana, soyabean, peas are good to consume. In this season Tuberous Vegetable should not be consumed. In this season, green vegetable is good for our health. Lady fingers, Tricoshina – Derosius (Parval), Bottle Guard, Bitter Guard, French beans, Brinjal, Drum Stick are some vegetables which are good for our health in Monsoon.
In this season, the farmers grow lots of vegetable as in this season, more and more vegetables could be grown in very quick time. The lemon is grown in abundance in this season. In this season lemon, ginger, Mint, Bishop weed( Ajwain), Garlic, Onion, black Pepper, Cumin seeds, Coriander, fennel, Fenugreek etc are the food items which could be used to prepare a perfect and healthy food for us.
In the afternoon, you should have Lassi, that will refresh you and in the night not to forget drinking one glass of milk. From Yogurt lassi is made, but in ayurveda the benefits of both are different. In this season, it is better to have Lassi then Yogurt. Those who have a problem of indigestion and they are facing the problem of going in toilet and all, then they should add Hingwastak Churna or Lavan Bhaskar Churna or Shivakshar Pachan Churna in Lassi while having it in afternoon. Even eating Garlic and Onion in this season is good for health.
Diseases in Monsoon
In Monsoon, many people are affected which many diseases. For Doctors, this season is good, as they get more and more patients. But we should not help them in earning and should take proper care in this season. We never know when any particular disease can caught us. So, prevention is better. In this season, diseases like Skin Disease, Typhoid, Malaria, Flu, Intoxication, Gasto Problem, Cholera, Indigestion, liver disease, pain in Shoulder pain, Cold, Cough, Inhaling Problem and many types of other disease.
Skin Diseases
In this season, if we want to protect us from skin diseases, then it is better to apply Mustard oil (Sarson ka tel) and then bath with hot water. In this season, children don’t take care about themselves, so its better that their parents take proper care of them. It is said that in this season too, we should bath twice. We should keep our as clean as possible. Clothes should be washed in hot water. Still, if the disease persist, then it’s better to take help from doctor.
Stomach Diseases
In this season, many people have a complaint of stickiness in human excrement. For such people, this season is very important to take proper care. Some people have complaint of having blood in excrement, then they should immediately consult to doctor for curing. If such situation persists, we should only take liquid items in our food and water should be taken after boiling. In this season, pain in joint is the most common in all people. Pain in Muscles is also the problem which is increasing in most of the people. To cure of such pain you should gentle massage on the joints with MahaNarayan oil or Panchyuk Oil.
In this season diseases like fewer, Malaria, Flu, Typhoid are some diseases which caught us in very quick time. We should have proper food. Cleanliness should be there. Proper and healthy diet should be taken. Diet should light, which can be digested easily and you don’t feel heavy. Eat small- small proportion of food 4 to 5 times. Water that we are consuming should be clean. If the facility of Aqua- Guard is not there, then boiling water is best and then consuming. We should not keep our food in open. If food is kept outside, we should cover the food by some utensil. In this season if we have one spoon of Tulsi juice and one spoon of Ginger juice, along with few crushed black pepper daily, it will protect us from all kinds of fewer as well as our skin will also be protected. These are some tips, if taken then no Disease will catch us and we will live our life very enthusiastically.
