The great Ekalavya story, It is Mahabharata. All are leans education from the masters. But he did not like that. He learned own archery in front of Dhrona master statue. Because of the reason he refused by him. He was a great archery, greater than Arjuna. That archery he earned own with master by the self confidence. He Believed on standing own feet. He was only one powerful person in archery in that time, world wide. But he failed in archery for the giving of his right thumb gift to his master.
Education is the manifestation of perfection already man, Said Vivekananda.
In the process of learning, self help is best help. Depending always on others, even teachers parents, is sign of weakness. One must learn to stand on one’s own feet. The secret of success lies in self- confidence and self- reliance. Teachers and parents can only help us manifest strength, power and perfection that is already with in us.
In Mahabharata, there is the wonderful character of Ekalavya. He is an ideal modern student, for he was a student in the true sense. Vidhyarthi means seeker of knowledge and to learn archery was Ekalavya only desire. The one of wants to acquire knowledge and at the same times runs after money and enjoyment cannot be called a student.
When Ekalavya approached Dhrona, the latter refused to accept him as his disciple. See the greatness of the boy! Though he was rejected, he did not lose heart. He was determined to master archery. He could do it with out any external help .it is a bright example for ever one. By self –effort and faith in one’s own power, longing for knowledge and above all by self - reliance, one can do miracle. Nothing is impossible for such a person in this world.
Peaceful mind
Peaceful mind is best to the man, happy to him. Freeman is as like as bird.
Bird freely flays in the sky.
Image a bird flying … circling in the air, enjoying the atmosphere, peacefully looking at the valley and diving deep into it, with total abandonment and fearlessness. The breeze touching its face with full force… makes the bird close its eyes. The strong air currents push against its face, but the bird enjoys the sensation. It goes down, down, down, almost touching the river... then rising to perch on the branch of tall tree, looking majestically at the whole valley. The entire valley is very peaceful. The animals and birds are all very peaceful. They are making noise, shouting, calling each other but still the peace is not disturbed. The peace is disturbed neither by sound nor by noise.
Imagine… feel the vibration of peace emanating from your self, mind and body, spreading around you. You are totally relaxed and at peace with the surroundings. At present, just drop whatever conflicts and disturbance you may have felt and spared peace around, irrespective of who is around and whatever your experience.
Imagine the vibration of peace spreading out from your self, engulfing all the people in the room and making everyone feel at ease and absolutely peaceful. Again, gathering more strength and enthusiasm from other people and from togetherness, this peaceful vibration is spreading out in the entire building, the entire city, the country and the universe. Consciously and unconsciously everyone is feeling more peaceful. They are attracted towards peace. The thoughts of violence, conflict and discord are leaving them.
