“Something is strange over here. I tell you.” said Maddy as he gazed around the forest.
A tall, well built but shy 15 yrs old boy who is quite scared to visit such places like forests, abandoned junkyards or whatever but has to do the opposite due to his friends.
“Yeah, see the birds are flying. There are leaves on the trees and the water is also just flowing down the river. It’s not stopping at all. Isn’t it weird Maddy?” chuckled Dave, the wicked counterpart of Maddy. He is an adventure loving kids who finds himself both trapped and amused with people like Maddy at the same time.
Maddy frowned at Dave. “I mean to say that, I am having a feeling that somebody is watching us here.”
“Oh wow! I wonder who will be watching us. Is it the Booogieee Mannnn!!!???” As he said he turned and jumped in Maddy’s face making him stumble on the ground, terrified. Dave burst out into a loud hoot making Maddy feel embarrassed.
“Look out friends we have got a kid in our gang who is scared of the Boogie Man”
“Shut up Dave!! This is too much now. Don’t make me come over there” emerged the voice of Mike, the Big Guy of the gang. Although being of the same age Mike looked considerably elder than the rest. He came over and gave Maddy a hand to make him stand again.
“Its not the Boogie Man, its YOU. You are more scary and disgusting than him. And by the way Boogie Man comes out at night when all is dark”
“Whatever…”
They all were out to enjoy their weekend at the old tree house they had seen in the forest when they had been there last time. They were five walking in a line including two girls Fiona and Bessie who were following the boys concerned more about the journey than the quarrel of the boys.
“Mike, are we there yet??” came out the first words from Fiona, who was the only girl with her head on her shoulder in the entire group leaving Mike as an exception. She being the sharpest took care of all the rest of them. On the Contrary, Bessie was more famous as “Good for Nothing” or “The beast of Burden”.
