Does virginity matters in marriage?
I don't think it should matter but in India unfortunately it does and I think it's purely due to then sucking societal norms and I think at least educated people should come up and say it doesn't matter.
Marriage has a purpose, continuity of generation, inheritance of private property from where is virginity coming into picture I am not quite sure how many people will agree that sex is for re-creation and not recreation. Earth will be taken by a terrible storm; a terrible change if the entire world population agree to this fact.
In fact two conditions will result from this
[1] people will realize that since sex is for re creation, re-creation is necessary for only once or twice in a life.
[2] People will realize since sex is for re-creation the objective of each sexual act should be re-creation world population will escalate in a geometric fashion, there will be so many more people in this world
everyone wants that their spouse should be virgin, or who doesn't have the physical relationship but the condition is only that the other sex partner should be virgin so he or she can expect this that the spouse should be virgin.
But the other part is - it doesn't matter at all because the main thing a groom or bride sees the nature of each other. If you are virgin but you are not compromising from nature, then what is the use of your virginity?
We are living in the India. Our culture, our environment is like this that we think about the virginity.
