#)Hai friends.... our freedom strugle not only involves Gandhiji and Nehruji and ther eare lakhs and lakhs of freedom fighter who sacrificed for their life and many of them are left unknown and people forget some.
#)This article is about such a person who motivated people for the freedom and India and followed his own way for the freedom struggle, during the period where Gandhiji was trying to get freedom by using Non Violence as weapon.....This is none other than , Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
#)In the history of the freedom struggle of India,he is the one who stands out in all distinctiveness and a class by himself.
A Brilliant Student
#)Subhas Chandra was born on January 23rd 1897 in Cuttack,Orissa as the ninth child among fourteen, of Janakinath Bose, an advocate, and Prabhavatidevi.
#)Till his standard 6 he studied in Stewart School(present name) and then shifted to Ravenshaw Collegiate School of Cuttack
#)He was very brilliant from his young age and this made him to top the matriculation exam of Calcutta province in 1911.
#)He finished his B.A. in Philosophy from the Presidency College(under University of Calcutta) in Calcutta in the year 1918.
#)Durin his college period in 1916,Subhash reportedly beat and thrashed one of his British teachers E F Otten as the teacher made many racist comment on Indian students
#)He was very much inspired by Swami Vivekananda's speech from his early life
#)His parents wanted him to keep off from the freedom struggle
#)They wanted him to finish the civil service exam and Bose studied in Fitzwilliam Hall of the University of Cambridge
#)As he was a brilliant student he got overall 4th rank in the civil service

#)Being deeply disturbed by the Jallianwalla Bagh massacre, he could not complete his aprecentship and returned to India.
#)This was the period where he came under the influence of Mahatma Gandhi and joined the Indian National Congress.

Inspiring Freedom Fighter
#)Bose begin to wrire a newspaper cakked "Swaraj" and he also took charge of the publicity for the Bengal Provincial Congress Committee
#)Bose was greatly admired for his great skills in organization development.
#)Bose was also elected as the leader of the youth wing of the Congress Party, in the forefront of the trade union movement in India and also organized Service League, another wing of Congress.
#)Bose advocated for a complete freedom in India at the earliest, in contrary to the Congress Committee, who wanted it in phases, through a Dominion status.
#)Even Jawaharlal Nehru supported Bose and finally during Lahore Congress convention, the Congress adopted Poorna Swaraj, which means "complete freedom", as its motto
#)While was working under the Nationalist Deshbandhu Chittaranjan Das, he was elected as the Mayor of Calcutta province
#)But in 1925 he was arrested and sent to prison in Mandalay, in a roundup of nationailst. and this is the place where he was affected by tuberculosis.
#)It was during this exile in Burma from 1924 to 1927 saw within him, the transformation of a lieutenant to a leader.
#)After 2 years from jail , Bose was elected as the General Secretary of the congress committie in the year 1927
#)From that onwards he started working with Jawaharlal Nehru, for thier motto Complete Freedom
#)He was also arrested and lodged in jail for participating in Gandhiji’s Salt Satyagraha in 1930
#)It was between 1920 and 1941,Bose was outspoken in his anti-British stance and was jailed 11 times for periods varying between 3 months and 3 years.

#)It was during the middle of 1930s Bose traveled to Europe, and visited Indian students and European politicians, as well as Hitler in 1936
#)In 1938 he agreed to nominate for the post of Leader of Indian National Congress and also won.
#)Again in 1939 he won , this time he beat the candidate whom Gandhiji supported
#)This is also a great turning point in his life as he quit congress due to some sort of misunderstanding and he said Gandhiji "Iam an extemist"
#)During war in Europe he was arrested again, but this time he managed to escape
#)Then he went to Germany gaian and with Hitler's permission he asked for Indian prisoners in Africa for his army and he basicall had his training in Germany before he left to Japan in submarine via Madagascar.

#)In 1942, he began his regular broadcasts from Radio Berlin

#)Then Bose went to Singapore where he became the commander of the INA
#)The amy strength grew to 43,000 soldiers and they begin to fight against the British in Burma and Imphal in 1944
#)The I.N.A. Headquarters was shifted to Rangoon in January 1944, they marched towards their Motherland with the war cry "Chalo Delhi" on their lips, the Azad Hind Fauj crossed the Burma Border, and they stood on Indian soil on 18 March 19
Death of Bose
#)On Aug. 18, 1945, when Bose was travlling to Soviet Union from Japan , his plane crashed in Taipeh and he was reported dead.
#)But many believe he wasn't dead on the crash an dthis lead to the onvestigation of his death
#)Many believed that the Hindu saint named Bhagwanji, who lived in the house Ram Bhawan in Faizabad, near Ayodhya at least until 1985, was Subhas Chandra Bose in exile.
Bose is really a great hero and all the people Love him for the kind of effort he made for the freedom of the country............We will never forget him.........
