Do you know you can help your friends, colleagues or neighbours financially without spending a single paise from your pocket. You may find it hard to believe, but given below are some tips where you do not lose anything from your pocket , but your colleague or friend stands to gain financially.
The 2 main ways of helping a person financially are through information sharing & sharing facilities you have.
INFORMATION SHARING.
1) Discount Sale:- If you are aware of a special sale on a festive occasion like Dasara sale, wherein an item usually sold for Rs.3000/- is sold for Rs.1800/-, you inform your friend about that. Your friend who may have an requirement of that item, but is not aware of the scheme stands to gain financially because of information provided by you at the right time.
2) Schemes: If you are using a mobile tariff scheme or are aware of a scheme, which is comparatively cheaper to what your friend uses, you refer that scheme to him. While you do not lose anything, your friend again can cut down his losses, thereby gaining financially.
SHARING FACILITIES
1) Mobile Schemes:- You could be subscribed to a tariff on your mobile, wherein you get to use unlimited calls for an entire month or paying a certain sum say Rs.1000/-. Whenever your friend is present with you at the same place and time, you can ask him to call from your mobile instead of his. While your friends mobile bill will come down and he saves money, you do not lose anything.
2) Sharing Auto/Bike- If you travel by auto, and your friend too takes the same route by bus, you can help your friend by sharing the auto. It costs you nothing, but your friend saves the bus fare, saves time and finds it more convenient Similarly if you have a bike, you can volunteer if the route is same.
3) Receiving Gifts:- If you get lot of perishable gifts like Sweets from your organization or customers on festivals, which you cannot consume because of too many packets given to you then you can give it to your friend, if he cannot afford. Your friend saves money because he need not for his family.
4) Discount Coupons:- If you get complimentary discount coupons which you are sure you are not going to avail, as it will not be useful to you may be passed on to your colleagues of friends.
5) Complimentary Passes:- You might be having a complimentary pass with you for a sport you are not interested in watching. You can pass on to somebody known to you, who is interested in that particular sport.
