Haunting the border, the death’s shadow,
Red---the only color breathing,
Levitating crescent, a cry it follows,
Silence shivering, a secret, revealing.

A tale forgotten, a chapter closed,
Beneath the green flag, waving, hoisting,
A victory splendid, my grave will cite,
A soldier is dying, a glory shielding.

A thousand lives, yearns the dying heart,
Youths slayed on red earth, weeping, gleaming,
Haunting the border, the death’s shadow,
