Who are they, who refused to give up?
Achievers who reach their cherished goals through mere perseverance and patience. These achievers will not take the things for granted. They believe in giving their best and continue to do so till they reach the winning post. The route to their success is straight. The achievers are aware that there is no short cut to success. That's why they will not indulge in manipulations. During their journey on the path to success, if they encounter any road blocks, they take a detour, but never stop. If they fall down , they get up and continue their onward journey. Because they have a firm faith in the great Chinese philosopher Confucius's famous saying,
"Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in raising every time we fall."
Which is why they refuse to give up.

In order to achieve one's ambitions and aspirations, one has to mould himself in to a stipulated mould. What are the stipulations? Stipulations are a set of prerequisites that every aspiring achiever is required to possess.

This strategy of chalking out a plan before hand never fails.
He's in full control of himself.
He leaves nothing to chance. He knows pretty well every single trait in him will contribute positively or negatively to the success or failure respectively to the job in his hand. For example he maintains perfect health with sound living style. Because he knows only a sound mind in a sound body enables a smooth progress in his project. One should watch an achiever's quality of his enthusiasm. He shows and encourages others to show enthusiasm in showing that child like enthusiasm in getting acquainted with the latest quintessence in his chosen field.
A few cases of Achievers who scripted their own destiny.
Mary Kom
Is a winner literally in her family life and her chosen field Professional Boxing. Her humble beginnings never hindered her ambition to become a boxer despite the fact that her financial condition is nowhere to afford the infrastructure needed to make here a Boxer. She used to help her parents in farming. At the same time she used to take up the challenging job of parenting her siblings. She won six gold medals in the world Boxing championships and made every Indian proud. Its not all she won a bronze meal in Olympics. Mary Kom is a shining example of a woman who refused to give up.
Charles Schulz
Every door was shut on the face of Charles Schulz who was determined to become a cartoonist. Starting from Walt Disney all down below the line refused to accept the mettle in Charles. But Charles knew that its a matter of time for his stars to shine up. The rejection spree went on and on. The more Charles was rejected. the more he had become determined. As the adage says. "Tough times will not stay, but tough people do", became true. The character created by Charles, "Peanuts" became the talk of the town. His strip cartoons and Peanuts created waves and by 1953, Charles Schulz, the undaunted started earning $ 30000 a year. Now the characters created by Charles Schulz have become legends. Starting from NASA to Ford. The fact that NASA's moon excursion has been christened as "Snoopy", a creation of Charles Schulz speaks volumes about the undaunted spirit of Charles Schulz.
What could be a better example than Charles Schulz, who defied the established notions and stuck to his beliefs and rose like a meteor.
The Paris Salon refused to accept the Impressionist Painters.
Impressionist Claude Monet one of the refused impressionists never gave up his "Impressionism". He refused to accept the diktats of the Paris Salon and went ahead with his impressionism. In the year 2008, the auction House Christie's, London sold, a Monet for an unprecedented amount of 40 million Pounds speaks of the true grit Of an achiever-Claude Monet. And it mirrors the attitude of an achiever who never gave up to the daunting adversities. A great tribute to all those achievers who believed in their mettle and strengths than on the Fate and Bad luck.
Few others who refused to give up.
When we speak of those courageous souls who refused to give up when adversities and unfavourable conditions threatened them, the names of John Milton, Beethoven and Vangogh to name a few too flash in to our minds.
John Milton's blindness never came in the way to write the last volumes of Paradise Lost, during which period, he has become blind. His dismal failure in selling his paintings did not stop Vincent Vangogh painting. All along his life, he could sell only one painting.
Conclusion
Washington Irving's quote, " Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune, but great minds rise above them." speaks a lot about the attitude of an achiever. As Winston Churchill aptly said, "It takes courage to stand up and speak." Achievers are not a special breed. They are made and moulded from the people like any one of us we see in the society.. What makes them different from the rest is their doggedness to stand against the strong gales and fiery Tornadoes. And the fierce will to win against all odds.
