Let the magic of Anna work
"A leader is one who can have others to follow him" is what the exponentially growing support of the mass towards anna Hazare's crusade against corruption highlights. Evidently, successful conclusion of the campaign will result only if the government agrees to the terms of framing a stringent Lokpal bill aimed at ensuring corruption-free India but actually the bill enforced was found incompetent to tackle the evil of corruption. In this connection, resorting to fast was only an attempt to spark vigilance throughout the country against the alarmingly growing rates of corruption flourishing in various layers of society including government functionaries. But unfortunately, the top leaders of our country probably fear that the effectiveness of such a "transparency-promising " bill may hurt their political interests and for their intolerence cannot see Anna do what the so called "saviours of democracy" are supposed to. Are they this way safeguarding democracy? Are'nt they abusing the power they have been provided and skipping the responsibilities they are entrusted with ? Or has their discerning capacity to run the nation itself corrupted? Notably, the arrest action w as the worst that could be expected out of their wit being baffled by the vigorous anti-corruption move.
Of course, they do not have magical wands to uproot the menace of corruption, but if they come forward to unquestioningly and enthusuadtically trace Anna's trajectory, unprecedented miracles are bound to follow. Consequently, the the entire financial figure will change dramatically and then no wonders if India emerges as the financially strongest economic power! (economic data suggest that bringing back of black money stashed abroad will lead India rank one financially. Development will cross financial barriers , attaining newer vheights of sustainability. How healthier will be the scenario, right? But all this can happen only if the leading government officials open their minds to at least unbiasedly contemplate Anna's formulae to uproot corruption, and stick to the same thereafter. No better scheme to fight this problem seems possible and this is probably the best time we can ever have to achieve our motto.
Anna Hazare, in true sense, symbolises a genuine leader which India has been desperately waiting for in these critical hours. I think the power holders of our nation should learn a lesson or two from great Anna. You just imagine what if all the politicians turn Anna-minded? The growth rates will multiply faster than Anna's fast and India will sooner turn into the real democracy our freedom-providers had dreamt of!
So let us join our hands together to help Anna in his noble cause. Go Anna go! May your determinations multiply infinitefold! We all are with you!
