Why India is Great Country
It looks after the welfare of its people, without any discrimination based on religion, region, caste or economic status.
There is a progressive attitude, not only in a few fields like science and technology, but overall, that includes social uplift, economic self-dependence, civic and cultural development.
The country has a global prominence.
India has indeed made significant progress. Now, other nations cannot ignore the will of our country. And that's the only thing that I feel proud of. People might also contend that Indian engineers and IT professionals have made a huge impact in the world. Indeed, they have. But we must note here that whatever we do in IT or engineering filed, it's all for the MNCs. Most of the projects that are done here largely come from US based companies.
Agricultural progress is deteriorating fast, and it manifests itself in the oft-occurring cases of farmers committing suicides. Socially, we have done worse that what we were supposed to do. These days factors like caste and religion have strengthened their hold on the society, thanks to our policy-makers. Look at the civic infrastructure. The conditions have gone from bad to worse. Power crisis looms large not over just UP and Bihar but also in the so-called advanced cities like Bangalore.
very very few of the think about improving the lot of their nation .that is what I define as active patriotism.
Our next generation should be taught the evils that corruption and nepotism bring along, directly and indirectly unless they feel that corruption is a curse, society is not going to change and we need a change is social mindset. Any amount of rallies or meetings won't help in bringing about this change but if we ensure that our children value virtues like honesty and sincerity, things will improve a lot and it is something that all of us can do without sparing even one second of our time, the only thing we need to ensure is good advice.
