Pursuit of Happiness
It is relative, varies person to person, more of an illusion these days to be honest, never seen anyone just happy or absolute happy. The way I see it . it is a state of mind or yourself where you are comfortable and peaceful or should I say not worrying about anything.
So that life does not annoy you, bearing life becomes less painful or the burden of life is bearable, or you can do something meaningful in your life without getting distracted more or less you can feel good about yourself and channel your energies more appropriately to make your life meaningful .
Whom should we seek permission and why? I do not for once believe in that decisions of my life should be in someone else’s hand. I am not a slave or property of someone else that I should seek neither permission nor someone else should/can be my master of life.
What is happiness?
Happiness is a path, not a destination. You feel happy as a reward for generally gaining value or successfully restraining your daily necessities.
Why do we want to be happy?
The reason for this is that no one can ever be completely happy; neither can one ever be completely unhappy. Take for example an athlete, setting him/herself up into the starting blocks of the 100m. S/he could be extremely happy that s/he has managed to get this far.
Why should we be allowed to be happy?
Humans live in order to attain something. It is not reasonable to assume that we exist simply for the sake of unending proliferation of the species: there must be some kind of visible or obscure goal that we need to achieve.
That is relatively intuitive, because otherwise human existence is akin to bacterial life.
