Here is the method of folding an origami paper into this beautiful flower vase.
- Make an origami square base.
- Fold the flap of the side edge inwards so that the tip touches the midline. Repeat on all the four sides (two on left side and two on the right side).
- A) Fold the upper open flap toward the inside(towards you).
B) Fold all other flaps backward.
C) Now, fold the lower closed end towards inside so that it touches the midpoint.
- Open up all the creases. Take the top free flap in your hands and fold along the side crease, pushing the upper side flap inside. Repeat this on all the four sides (2 on each side) so that the shape of the vase appears.
- Fold the free flaps on all sides, towards the inside of the model, as in case of an envelope. Totally four flaps will need to be folded inward.
- Fold the tips of all the eight edges (4 on upper left side and 4 on the upper right side) a little, such that adjoining folded tips face each other.
- Apply glue to one of the folded tips of each of the adjoining pairs. Stick them together so that it results in 4 edges.
- Straighten the base and the sides so that the vase stands out.
