It’s our duty for our nation
Do not waste electricity.
If you eat a packet of biscuits while travelling, you make it a point to throw the wrapper in a bin. If You do not find a bin nearby, You carry the wrapper home and discard it properly.
You teach your kids at home and try to inculcate in them the principles of the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for us. Their history textbooks hardly mention anything else apart from Gandhi and Nehru!
Most importantly, you follow all the major news channels regularly to keep yourself updated and aware of what's happening in my country. You are aware of your rights.
It shames me when you see people spending crores to book actresses for some New Year bash but these very same men can't spare a ten rupee note when it comes to donating for a noble cause.
It enrages me a lot when you see people vandalizing public property. Everywhere you see people disobeying traffic rules, throwing garbage right in the middle of roads, transforming train compartments into dustbins. Political leaders hold meetings right in the middle of neighborhoods and their barbaric loudspeakers keep booming well past midnight.
It pains so much to see country is being led to devastation in the name of religion. Corruption looms everywhere.
Solution seems to be nowhere. You are aware, you know how to use the RTI, but what about the others who know everything but are unwilling to participate in making India a better place? There's no cure to this evil.
