The importance of a teacher

The importance of teacher is big, but in today’s world it’s difficult to find a teacher who can spare time or efforts for you. However I feel one can learn more about life from nature itself, from the dumb animal & plant & universe. Our knowledge of religion & science are the enemies to realization of our self, many of today’s teacher only adds more burden to it.

Master is like the guiding star. It shows you the direction. But you still have to walk the walk. Take me by the hand and show me the way approach is not a good idea in spiritual travails.

There are flowers that will bloom no matter what, even if the environmental conditions are against them. Because it is the very nature of the flower to bloom. So, there are people who will walk the path of spirituality with or without a master because it is the very nature of the soul to be spiritual.

However, many flowers do require a greenhouse to bloom since they are very delicate and have not learnt how to bloom in adverse conditions. So there will be many souls who have not learnt to walk this path irrespective of the environmental conditions. In that case, probably some guidance is a good factor.

The master is always there. The moment we are sincere he/she appears and the moment we are cunning he /she disappears. A master or masters may not look like a conventional guru too. The greatest master is the soul guru which shines when the intention is true. Sometimes in his compassion the Soul guru may manifest outside as they sat guru. If intention is true everything in this manifested world is a guru isn’t it?
