Whenever I see a beggar or a poor person working hard for an earning I walk very slowly to watch their happiness or their fight. I often feel that these are the persons who are really close to God. They depend completely on God. They are not dependent on money as I am. They earn their daily bread and are not worried about tomorrow. In our case whatever we earn we are not satisfied and are worried about tomorrow.
Most of the saints I have read about love poverty. They embrace poverty with happiness. The life of St. Francis of Assisi was that touched me the most. They regard themselves as unworthy and go straight to the poor and the sick. When will I be able to follow them?
I feel that whether you give money or don't to beggars you should never ill treat them or abuse them. Giving a few coins to a beggar won't make you poorer or him richer but the happiness you are giving to him is of much greater value.
We must not ignore the person who had came to us with bare hands. We as to give them something that may be in kinds of money or something which they feel satisfaction. And more over we also has to give them awareness if they are capable to do something in their life by working or by doing something. Because there is scope for the growth of criminality in these child’s. More over toddy’s child is leaders of coming generation.
