It is seen that even by doing regular exercise and following regular dietary regime, our weight continues to increase. This is hazardous and should not be neglected. Basically there are various different factors responsible for obesity and according to experts we are unaware of those reasons. That is why we are unable to find proper solution to reduce weight. Intake of medicines without the direction of physician, improper medication on body weakness, or doing improper or wrong exercise might cause a hurdle in weight loss. Let us look upon some more such factors:
1) Continuous increase of fat in the body:
Generally after the age of 30, there is decrease in the rate of metabolism. According to experts, at the age of 25, near about 200 calories increases while at the age of 35, almost half that is 100 calories are spent. In such case, increase in weight is quite natural. The forcible dieting is also responsible for this. In such a case,regular exercise should be done twice a week. Type of exercise like press- ups, lungs and squats should be included.
2) Intake of medicine:
Many times, it is seen that the medicines we are taking are having some side affects on our body. If the person is suffering from anti depression, migraine, diabetes, or hypertension, then even if the medicines are taken as per the direction of doctors, can cause obesity .In such a situation, the patient should immediately consult his doctor. The patient should not stop the intake of the medicine without consulting the concerned physician.
3) Fit but Fat:
If we try to follow the same gym routine for a long time or we are not doing any sort of change in the type of exercise, then it will decrease the capacity of our body to destroy the unwanted calories. In such case, we should bring changes in the exercise timetable from time to time. This should include exercise, which causes body exertion, so that the rate of metabolism will not decrease. 4) Increase of fat on legs and thighs:
The probable reason for this problem is Lipodema. Lipodema means increase of fat cells in the skin tissues and accumulation of fluid in these cells. In such case, there is tremendous pain and swelling on the legs and thighs and the problem of cellulite may arise. This has no relation with the fat, but due to swelling the person looks obese. Cellulite is generally seen on the calf, knees and on the lower side of waist. This type of disorder has no solution. The probable thing can be done is to use a special type of bandage to support the tissues and prevent the accumulation of fluid in the lymph system.
5) Swelling on face:
This problem is related with the thyroid gland. The main function of the thyroid gland present in the neck is to control the metabolism with the help of thyroxin and triadothiroin hormones. These glands coverts the rate of heart beat, body temperature and food in energy. Besides this, symptoms like loss of hair, thinness of nails, dry skin and drowsiness are also seen. When there is a dysfunction of thyroid glands, the mucopolysaccharides get activated resulting in the swelling on the face. In such a situation, one should immediately consult the doctor. If he is found to be suffering from hypothyroidism after blood test, he might be directed to consume levothyroxin.
6) Pressure on waist:
After taking food, if following symptoms are seen,

This means that our body is incapable of digesting certain food items. In such situation, the food contents are not digested properly and they remain to some extent in the digestive tract. This is called as food intolerance. Due to this gas formation takes place and stomach problems are born. For example: Many people cannot digest milk, because their body contains lactose. 7) Increase in fat on the lower portion of the stomach:
This might be due to polycystic ovary syndrome. This is hormone related disorder, which is found in 5% – 10% females after childbirth. The size of the lower portion of the stomach increases. According to experts, it is not necessary that this will happen after childbirth only. In many cases this happens after or during menopause. Besides stomach, fat on chest and back also increases. Besides this, irregular periods, pain and hair on face can also be seen in this case. These problems indicate the increase in the level of testosterone hormone. Due to this the blood glucose in the body does not reach the liver and gets converted in fat and accumulates in the lower portion of stomach.
