We are in the first week of April and winter is departing with the message that she has to make her way for her fellow season, summer, who is knocking at the door and we don't seem to have any other option rather than to welcome summer and make him a part and parcel of our daily life for the next few months until monsoon arrives. In today's life we need to adapt ourselves according to the changing climate and season or else we might come up with different kind of physical sickness and diseases and really it is a challenging job for us to keep yourselves fit and moving. In the summer and monsoon season an extra bit of caution is required to maintain a sound and good health. But the question is how can we do so? The first and the foremost thing that I would like to suggest is that we need to keep our stomach, food pipe, kidney and liver healthy as because most of the diseases today that occur mostly in the summer and monsoon are related with these vital organs of our body. If we manage to keep these organs of our body working and functioning properly then almost eighty percent of our worries regarding diseases and sickness is solved. Diseases like Cholera, Diarrhea, jaundice, stomach upset and indigestion may arise if we become careless and don't take the preventive measures to avoid them. Therefore, I would like to suggest some possible awareness or measures through this article to avoid these kind of diseases from entering our body.
* First and the foremost thing, which I would like to point out over here is that almost every kind of our stomach related diseases have a direct or indirect relation of the kind of food and water we consume in our day to day life. During the summer and monsoon we need to follow an extra bit of cautiousness because it is in these seasons the above mentioned disease are in full swing. During summer when there is a shortage of water we often find people using water from ponds etc to perform their daily activity of bathing and drinking without knowing the fact that the usage of these stored or stagnant water are very harmful for their body, especially the stomach. Moreover, diseases like viral diarrhea, indigestion, cholera and jaundice are very much related with the usage of these polluted water. To stop these disease from infecting your body the only answer is to always use clean and clear drinking water.
* In the cities very often we find dumped garbage accumulated in a place where there are hotels, confectioneries and restaurants. Let me tell you that these dumped garbage are the breeding grounds for flies, mosquitoes, bacterias and viruses. If we buy and eat food and snacks from these shops we are very prone to get infected by infections of any of the deadly diseases. Besides, the flies also carry with them these disease and spread throughout the locality and they are really very dangerous.
* Moreover, during the summer season I have seen many people crowding around the footpath vendors and engage themselves to drink colored cold water or ice which is very fatal mistake by them. They hardly ever take time to think that the water used for making these kinds of drinks and ice is not at all good for their health.
* Further, I would like to add that one should make it a habit and compulsory to take their lunch or dinner in clean well washed dishes to avoid getting infected with the stomach related diseases. We must avoid eating in hotels and restaurants no matter how good it is and we should always try to rely in home made foods during these seasons.
* In the summer we sweat and perspire alot and our body loses a huge amount of water therefore make sure to drink alot of water throughout the day to keep our vital systems inside our body running smoothly and functioning properly. We should at least drink five to six glasses of water every day to keep our selves healthy and to maintain the balance of water in our body.
* Avoid junk foods as because they take a long time to get digested and does a lot of harm to our digestive system. Avoid spices and chillies in your food items because in summer we need to take lighter food which gets easily digested by the body and always make sure to drink coconut water within a gap of every fifteen days to keep your systems hale and hearty.
* The last and the most important thing to bear in mind is to use clean water for drinking purposes and if possible install a water purifier at home which are available very cheaply now-a-days or you can boil water before drinking to make it free from germs and infections. While going out for work in offices, schools and colleges carry a bottle of water along with you as because when you fell thirsty you don't have to drink water from here and there. In a recent survey conducted it has been found that we can avoid almost eighty percent of the stomach related diseases by drinking clear and clean water.
