All of us want crave to achieve a lot in life, yet there are 2 things which nobody wants and they are STRESS and FAILURE. Let us analyze the reasons for Stress and Failure.
Stress:-All of us have our goals, ambitions and targets. It could be of various types to different categories of people. For a student who has just finished his education, it could be getting a decent job for a livelihood for supporting himself and his parents. For a ordinary employee, it could be a promotion or a better job. For a top executive it could be expecting a better offer from another organization. Whether it is job for a student, or promotion for a employee/executive it is bound to take its own time. While there is nothing wrong in aspiring for it, sometimes we tend to push hard for it and try to hasten things, which usually happens in its due course. When we push hard for it and nothing happens, it creates stress which affects our health, both physically and mentally.
Failure:- While there is a category of people who try to hasten things, there is another category who leave it to destiny. This category of people are of the firm opinion that whatever has to happen, will happen which is commonly termed as "DESTINY" There is nothing we can do about it and we will have to wait for the right time so that things happen automatically. Great people say there is nothing called destiny and that we make our own lives and destiny is only an excuse to hide our failures.
What I would say is we should adopt a balanced approach towards life to attain atleast a reasonable amount of success which I feel is a minimum requirement. Yes, we should have ambitions but should not be over ambitious and push hard to avoid stress, we should believe in destiny, but not leave everything to destiny, as we should also try from our side to avoid failure.
