Have you ever faced sleeping problem at the night? I mean you want to sleep and you are on bed but you don’t feel like sleeping. Well, I am sure many of you have faced such problem on anytime. Sometimes it feels really irritating that we don’t get enough sleep when we really required after lots of work. Many people used to take sleeping pills to avoid such problem, but let me tell you this is unhealthy way to have sleep. So better we don’t follow it.
If I speak about myself even I had this problem. Few months back I was sleeping really late in the night, I was just used to sleep on bed by closing eye but in real I was still awake. I have talked about the same to my friends and I got few good ideas to avoid that problem. And thankfully now few of them are working for me. You know that sleeping early is very important. I mean every people have to go for their work in the morning, so if they don’t get proper sleep they don’t able to do work well. So to get enough sleep is important for every people so that they can have next day fresh enough to do all their important work. Well, let me tell few ideas using them you might get early sleep and avoid such problem. Let me tell you I cannot take 100% guarantee for any of these ideas as they may not work for you. But it is always good to at least try them. It is possible that one of them can work for you. So here are they:
Have little walking or light exercising: If you can give little time for walking or light exercising then you should do it. By doing these things your body will feel little tired and because of that you can get early sleep as per your requirement. So I think giving half hour of evening is possible for everyone. Try it out and check if it is working for you or not.
Take a bath before sleeping: In hot summer many times we don’t feel like sleeping because of hot weather. Well, on such time it is always good to have bath with cold water which will wash out all the hotness of your body and you will feel very cool. And yes with such relaxation feeling you can have good sleep whenever you want. Same goes for cold weather. If there is too much cold out there, then you can take bath from hot water which will remove all the tiredness and you will feel fresh. So it will give you nice sleep on time. So go for bath and check the results.
Have some hot drink: Well, many people used to say that if you want to stay awake for late night have coffee or tea. But sometimes it can create reverse effect. Well, I will not advice you to take coffee, but you can take one cup of hot milk before the sleeping. This can surely help your sleep. Or you can also try out herbal tea. Honestly speaking I have never tried this herbal tea thing but as it is herbal nothing wrong in trying it out. It might work for you. So have some one cup of hot milk or herbal tea which can help you to sleep early.
Try out mobile stuffs: I don’t know what others have to say about it. But this thing works for me with charm. In fact these days I am applying this thing only whenever I don’t feel sleepy at the night. Just take out your mobile phone at the night when you are on bed and start playing game. If you are not interested in games then you can also use internet or something whatever you like. Believe me in very soon time because of mobile light you will feel heaviness in your eye. This is the time. Just off your mobile and try to sleep at that time. I am surely you will not even realize when you get the sleep. So this is the easiest way to try out. I am already experienced person of this thing and it surely works for me.
Hear soft music: Well here you can use your phone again. Just use your phone or walkman or like that. Take headphones and start listening soft songs. Music is the best medicine for stress mind. So if you are having any kind of stress it will reduce it for sure. And while listening to music try to sleep. If your problem is stress related or something you will feel relaxed and you will sleep in no time. But yes don’t forget to stop music when you feel like sleeping. He he
Forget about tomorrow’s tension: Many people used to go to bed with lots of tomorrow’s work load and tension. Well, as I mentioned nobody can sleep in the stress and with that much of mind pressure. You have to be relaxed to get proper sleep. If you will keep thinking about your tomorrow and future tension then it is obvious it will disturb your sleep. So be relaxed and never think about any kind of work and tomorrow’s tension when you are on bed. Just feel like you are not having any kind of work load and other thing when you are on bed. This will give you easiness.
Try out counting: Well, I have used this method very rarely. But yes for some level it also works. But it might possible that it work for you greatly. There are different of counting methods. You can choose any of them which suit you. Well, you can count numbers in reverse and you can also go for counting jumping ships. It is all up to you. I think it is all about moving our mind thought in some work. By this way you will not think about your work load and other things which are diverting your mind. But yes this can work well for you.
Go for reading: If you are not feeling sleepy then you can go for reading. Well, if you don’t having reading habit then it is even better. I mean you will feel bored soon and start getting naps. Reading books or novel can also divert your mind from your daily activity and can make you relaxed. So if you having interesting book or novel then go for it.
So this is it. Most of the methods are like psychological methods. But it can work well for you. I will not advice to go for sleeping pills because it is surely not healthy. I have even heard that taking sleeping pills regularly can shorten your life span. Well, I don’t know more about it, I have just read about it somewhere. So it is better not to take any kind of risk if you can use other easy methods for the same. So try them out and have a good sleep.
