Pola Poli
Ingredients of Pola poli:
Maida – ½ cup
Rice powder – ½ cup
Boiled and cooled milk – 2 Cups
Dry coconut – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Putnala powder / roasted chick peas – ¼ cup
Elachi powder / cardamom – ½ tea spoon
Ghee – According to need
Preparation of Pola Poli:
1.Mix milk and rice powder in maida.
2.Make the mix slippery form as we prepare for dosa.
3.Place a wide bowl on the stove.
4.Now add dry coconut, sugar in it
5.Let them cook until sugar syrup form.
6.Off the flame and add roasted chick peas powder and elachi powder in it.
7.Now place a pan on the stove.
8.Then reduce the flame to sim level.
9.Now pour maida mixture as dosa on the pan.
10.Then sprinkle coconut mixture on the dosa and fold the dosa to half
11.Then fry the dosa on sides.
12.These are known s Pola poli.
13.Now take these onto the serving plate.
14.Therefore, Pola poli is ready.
About pola poli:
These are very sweet in taste. No need to work hard to prepare it. With in less time we can prepare.
Madatha Holaga:
Ingredients for Madatha Holaga: Rava – 1 cup Rice – ½ cup Sugar powder – 1 cup Elachi powder – ½ tea spoons Coconut powder – ½ cup Ghee – according to need Food color – little Preparation of Madatha Holaga: 1.Mix rice powder in rava. 2.Then add sufficient water in it and make the mixtures as chapathi mixture. 3.Then cover the mixture with wet cloth and let it soak for 2 to 3 hours. 4.Now mix food color in coconut powder. 5.Now mix elachi powder in sugar powder. Now make mixture into small chapattis 7.Then place aon the store and ghee on it. 8.Then fry chapatti with ghee on both sides. 9.Then reduce the flame and sprinkle sugar powder and coconut on the chapatti. 10.Now fold the chapatti from both ends. So that both folding meet at the centre. 11.Now press on this tightly so that folding is like that. 12.Then fry on both sides with ghee. 13.Now take them on the serving plates and garnish with coconut powder. 14.Therefore, Madatha Holaga is ready. About Madatha Holaga: These are really tasty. These can be stored for 1 week.
Annam Bobbatlu: Ingredients of annam bobbatlu Rava – ½ cup Rice flour – ¼ cup Cooked rice – 1 Cup Chopped jaggery – 1 Cup Drinking water – ½ cup Elachi powder – little Putnala podi / roasted chick peas powder – ½ cup Ghee – According to taste. Prepaation of annam bobbatly: 1.Mi rava and rice flour and add water. Make this mixture as slippery as we prepare for bajji. 2.Now place a thick bowl on the stove. 3.Then add chopped jaggery and water. 4.When the jaggery melt completely then add elachi powder in it and mix them finely. 5.Then add coconut powder, cooked rice in it. 6.Mix them finely. 7.Then reduce the flame. 8.Let them cook for sometime 9.Let them become thicker. 10.Then off the flame. 11.Then add ghee, roasted chick peas in it. 12.Mix them finely and let them get cool 13.Now mold the mixture into round. 14.Now place a pan on the stove 15.Add ghee in it 16.Now take one round and dip in the rava mixture 17.Apply ghee to your hands then after placing the mold in the pan then press with your hands gently. So that the mold gets flatten 18.This should be fried on the both sides in ghee 19.Now reduce the flame. 20.Then take them on to serving plate. 21.Therefore, annam babbatlu is ready. About annam bobatlu : Annam bobbatlu are south Indian special sweet. Actually this sweet is prepared with dal but to make it different it is prepared by using rice. If we have them with the combination of ghee the taste will be amazing. You will forget your world. But you can store them for a week by using refrigerator. While preparing them we can add kaju and kismis in coconut mixture. Soya kheera Garelu / soya kheera vadalu: Ingredients of soya Kheera Garelu / soya kheera vadalu: Soya – 1 Cup Rice – ½ Cup White Gram – ½ cup Kheera cucumber – 1 Salt – taste Pepper powder – 1 tea spoon Green chili pieces – 1 tea spoon Oil – according to requirement Cooking soda – 1 pinch Preparation of Soya kheera vadalu/ soya kheera garelu 1.Soak soya, rice, white gram in water before day. 2.Next day grind them by adding salt in it. 3.Then add soda in it 4.Now remove the skin of kheera and cut into chips form 5.Remove seeds in the middle so that it forms a hole in the middle. 6.Add green chili pieces, pepper powder in the soya mixture. 7.Now place a pan on the stove and add oil in it. 8.Now take kheera pieces and dip in soya mixture. 9.Then drop in the oil and let it get fry on both sides until they change the color. 10.Take them into serving bowl where tissue paper is placed. 11.Therefore, soya kheera vadaly / soya kheera garely are ready/ About soya kheera vadalu / soya kheera garelu: These are amazing in taste. This is new manner of preparing south Indian favorite snack item vada using kheera. These can be stored for 2 days using refrigerator. The taste will be amazing if we have them with coconut chutney or onion chutney or sauce.
