Today am going to introduce a collection of brown rice recipes which are really amazing in taste. I have prepared them in my home in past 10 days. Everyone loved them. so I wish you also try them and enjoy the taste.
Thoota koora Biryani / amaranth biryani:
Ingredients:
Basmati rice - 1 Kg
Garamasala - 1 tea spoon
Oil - 100g
Onions - 2
ginger garlic paste - 2
Chili powder - 2 spoons
Curd - 100ml
Red amaranth - 2 bunches
Mushrooms - 100g
Lime Juice - 2 spoons
Drinking water - 1 litre
Coriander - little
Salt - according to taste
Preparation of Thoota koora Biryani:
1. Wash basmathi rice thoroughly with water.
2. Place pressure pan or bowl on the stove.
3. Then add oil in it and let them boil for sometime
4. Then add garamasala, chopped onions, green chili in it and let them fry for sometime.
5. Then add ginger garlic paste, chili powder, finely chopped thoota koora, mushroom chop and fry them finely
6. Now add basmathi rice, salt and water..
7. Then close it with a lid and keep the flame at low leve.
8. Add lemon juice, curd, coriander and mix them finely
9. Let them cook until rice get cook.
10. off the flame.
11. Therefore, thootakoora biryani is ready
Bargar:
Ingredients:
Brown rice - 150g
Garlic pieces - 1 table spoon
Onion pieces - 2 table spoon
Green chili - 1/2 tea spoon
Zeera powder - 1 tea spoon
Maida - 1 table spoon
Kheera / cucumber , tomato, onions slices - According to the interest
Oil - According to the requirement
finely chopped cheese - 2 table spoon
Preparation of Bargar:
1. Soak rice in water for half an hour and later cook it, then make it into fine paste.
2. Place a bowl on the stove and add oil in it.
3. Let them fry.
4. Then add maida and mix them finely.
5. Fry it in low level flame.
6. Now mix the rice paste in it
7. After 3 minutes add green chili, chopped zeera powder, salt and mix them finely.
8. Now mold this mixture in bun shape and place it in oven then perform grilling or else fry it on both sides by using non stick.
9. In this manner we should mold remaining mixture as bun.
10.Now place kheera, tomato, onions between the molds like bargar and cheese.
11. Thereforem Rice barger is ready.
Bullets:
Ingredients:
Brown rice - 1/4 kg
Salt - little
Garamasala - 1tea spoon
Stuffing:
Carrot or kheera
thootakoora - 10 stems
Dal or any gravy curry - 1 cup
Preparation of Bullets:
1. Boil brown rice and basmati rice separately and then mix them finely.
2. Then add salt, garamasala and let it become soft.
3. Now press this rice mixture to thootakoora stems or carrot slices.
4. Pour on them and cover them with the rice mixture.
5. Now grill them in oven at 175 degrees.
6.Therefore, bullets are ready.
We can have these with any combination of sauce.
Rice Balls:
Ingredients:
Brown rice - 1/4 kg
Maida - 4 table spoons
Corn flour - 2 table spoons
Drinking water - 4 tea spoons
Vegetable mixture:
Batani / Pea - 1/2 cup
chopped potato - 1 cup
chopped carrot - 1 cup
Chopped onions (fried) - 1 cup
Garamasala - 1 tea spoon
Chopped coriander - 2 table spoon
Salt - according to taste.
Preparation of Rice balls:
1. Soak rice for 2 to 3 hours in water.
2. Boil all the chopped vegetables.
3. Now add fried onions, ginger garlic, garamasala, salt, coriander chopped and mix them finely.
4. Now mold this mixture into balls.
5. Take maida in a bowl and add corn flour, salt 1/4spoon, then add water. So that the mixture will be slippery.
6. Now role the vegetable balls in the slippery mixture.
7. Then roll these balls in rice mixture and then press.
8. So mold remaining mixture.
9. Now fry these molds in oil.
10. Thereforem rice balls are ready.
We can have these with any sauce combination
