Soya is a source of protein which gives us a good amount of energy and is healthy for all the age groups especially the young ones. It is not only rich in vitamins and minerals but it also lowers risk of heart attacks, breast cancers and other bone related problems. Kebabs made out of Soya are low on calories, high on taste, less oily, easy to digest and full of nutrition. They are good starters and can be cooked within 15-20 min at the max. The ingredients and preparation of Soya Kebabs are as follows:
Ingredients
- Soya granules 100 grams
- One chopped Onion
- 20 grams chopped Ginger
- Salt to taste
- 1 chopped Green Chili
- 2-3 table spoons of Oil
- 1/2 Tea spoon of Red Chili powder
- 1 Tea spoon of Amchur powder
- Some Green Peas (frozen)
- Coriander leaves
- Little water and 50 grams of White Flour (Maida)
Preparation
- Take a Bowl
- Add 100 grams of Soya granules, one chopped Onion, 20 grams of chopped Ginger, Salt to taste, half tea spoon of Red Chili, 1chopped Green Chili, One tea spoon of Amchur powder, Coriander leaves, Green Peas and 50 grams of White Flour (Maida)
- Mix all the ingredients, add water and prepare a dough.
- Make small balls from the prepared dough and shallow fry in a pan or grill on a griller.
Soya Kebabs are ready to be served. However, they are incomplete without a Mint Sauce. The ingredients and preparation of a Mint Sauce are as follows:
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon of Vinegar
- 1 teaspoon of Sugar
- 1 tea spoon of Salt and Mint leaves
Preparation
- Boil 1 tea spoon of Vinegar, Sugar and Salt.
- Add chopped mint leaves (Pudina) to the mixture and cool it before serving
Note:
- Use chat masala and lemon to enhance the taste of the Kebabs.
- Serve them hot with onions and mint sauce.
- Ingredients mentioned above are good for a single portion.
