Ingredients:
Chana flour - 2 cups
Green chili - 8
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoons
Oil - 1 table spoon
Mustard seeds - 1/2 table spoon
Tumeric powder - 1/2 table spoon
Asafoetida - 1/4 tea spoon
Coriander - 1 table spoon
Chopped coconut - 1 table spoon
Preparation :
1. Take Mixy jar and add green chili, cumin seeds, garlic and salt.
2. Grind these items and by using mixy.
3. It forms into paste.
4. Take another bowl and place it on the stove.
5. Now add oil in it and let it boil for some time.
6. Then add mustard seeds, cumin seeds , turmeric powder and Asafoetida .
7. Let them fry for few minutes.
8. Now add 2 cups of water in it.
9. Let them boil for some time.
10.Then mix chana flour in it.
11. Stir until it get cooked completely.
12. Now take a place and apply ghee to it.
13. Then pour this chana flour mixture on the plate and spread on the plate.
14. Let the mixture in the plate get cool a bit and now cut the mixture into diamond shapes.
15. Now garnish these pieces with a chopped coconut and coriander.
16. Therefore, Zunka Vadi is ready.
