Ingredients
Rice – 2cups
Big potatoes -3
Green chili -4
Coriander – 1 bunch
Asafetida -1/2 spoon
Mustard seeds – ½ spoon
Cumin seeds – 1 spoon
Ghee – 1/4cup
Salt – according to taste
For the preparation of masala: Red dry chili -3
Coriander seeds- 2 spoons
Chana dal -2 spoons
Fenu Greek seeds -1/2 spoons
Sesame seeds – ½ spoons
Preparation time - 10 minutes
Cooking time -15 minutes
Process – Wash rice thoroughly with water and cook it.
Now take the rice which we cooked before into serving plate and cool it.
Now boil potatoes and smash them finely.
Add red dry chili, coriander seeds and chana dal, and then fry them
Then add fenu Greeks also. Fry them finely and grind this mixture.
Now take a bowl and place it on the stove.
Then add ghee and fry mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Asafetida, Green chili, potato
Pieces and wait until they get cooked
After some times add coriander, masala powder which we prepared just before.
Then close the bowl with a lid.
After 7 minutes lift the lid, then you will notice the mixture looks like a curry.
Now add rice which we cooked before at the starting.
Therefore potato rice is ready.
