What is Tofu (Bean curd)
Bean curd or Tofu is the richest source of protein as it is made up of soybean so it is good source of Vitamin B and Iron also. It does not contain cholesterol which makes it good for heart and health. It does not cause obesity so you can it without the worry of weight gain.
Before using Tofu it is good if you make it completely dry by removing water from it. If it is very soft than freeze it and when you want to use first bring it to the room temperature than make it dry with the help of tissue paper. You can keep it in refrigerator at least for one week just change the water everyday in which you put it.

Tofu can be used for many purposes like you can use it for making burgers, vegetables, sandwiches, sausage and even for making deserts also. It can be eaten plain also but to enhance its taste you can add some salt and pepper in it. It looks like a cheese (paneer). It does not have its own taste so you can mix it with anything. It will give you a new taste in every new recipe you try.
Cut it into small pieces add salt and black pepper according to your taste than fry it in olive oil. It will taste good with every think and good for your digestive system.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup tofu
- 1 1/2 cup juice of guava
- 1/2 cup diced pineapple (freeze them)
- 1/2 cup diced banana (freeze them)
- 1 tsp lemon juice
Method
Blend the tofu and juice of guava in the blender (mixer)
Than add all the diced food and blend them till they become smooth in texture and serve it chilled.
