Oh there was a big time of comedians, when Johny Walker was having two or three song in a movie as a comedian, Keshto Mukharjee had his own place in every movie, Mahmood sang the legendry song, 'kale hain to kya hua dilwale hain', one and only Tuntun used to capture all the clapings of audiance. Manorama also had her own place.
But what is this? Where are the comedians ? All the heroes are playing the role of comedian themselves. Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Aamir khan Sunil Shetty and Best Suitable in comic role 'Akshaya Kumar' all are doing comic role themselves. Most of the films of last 10 years have no specialist comedian, all the heroes are doing humurous things themselves.
Amitabh bachchan, i think, was the first hero to do some comedy himself with the serious role. That time was the end of coemdians. All the comedians are vanished. Johny Lever did some good comedy and made his position amongst all the heroes.
Stargate began in 1994 as a science fiction film and went beautiful a lot straight to the little screen.
It was hardly freed on blu-ray and appears awe-inspiring. James spader and kurt russell, both cracking actors are in this action/adventure movie. Spader is a scientist that deciphers an old egyptian artifact that cryptically acquires what they call the stargate. It has a portal for travel throughout the universe in addition as time. Once they decide to jump by, which you knew was going to ultimately take place, the craziness starts out.
There is a great deal of upset for them to get into and they have to fix a prominent deal. The film in addition as the specific effects hold up gorgeous good giving careful consideration to that the film is 15 years old. The characterization is crisp and the audio is swell altogether its high definition glory. The broadened cut of the cinema is unrated and adds together a lot of scenes not seen in the theater. Unfortunately, the additional extra content is beautiful skimpy on the disc, but what you come here for is the film, not the extras.
But you have to view whether this version is going to make you wish to sell out from your DVD copy. Whether or not you have the DVD and do not care in reference of watching the movie in HD, and then it may not be worth upgrading to. But whether or not you do not possess the film yet or in reality prefer to see how swell it appears in HD, then this is a keen sci-fi film. It’s a nifty adventure that has not lost any of its affect and tale. Kurt russell gives a keen performance as the tough as nails soldier who's to come out.
1)SCHINDLERS LIST:
Directed by Steven Speilbeg ,based on a true story,released in 1993,this film won 7 oscar awards,including best picture and best director.It is about a German Bussiness Man OSKAR SCHINDLER who saved 1000 's of Polish people during the holocoust in 1939 when German invaded Poland,by employing the polish people in his factory.Really the most important part of th film is that,when Oskar Schindler cries during the climax and feels that he could have saved more people by seeling his property.Surely tears will drop from our eyes during this scene.Now more than 3000 people of those polish descent are living at present ,due to Oskar Schindler.Guys please dont this film.though its lengthy its worth watching.The image below is the part of the list that Oskar Schindler prepared.
2)SHAWSANK REDEMPTION:
Directed by Frank Darabont,and release in 1994,this movies tops in many of the best movies list.Though this movie didn't win any oscar inspite of 7 nominations,i feel its worth watching a fantastic movie like this.Two important characters Tim Robbins and Morgan freeman did a splendid job and the stoy revolves around breaking out of the prison The Shawsank.
3)REMEMBER THE TITANS:
Released in 2000,this film is based on a true story.Denzel Washington's performance in this movie is appreciated by all sorts of people .This is based upon how racism involved in american football(TC Williams High School Football club).Denzel is appointed ans the coach an the story revolves around how he makes the team united and how the peam performs well without racist problem.
Similar kind of movies based on sports which you must see are, WE ARE MARSHALL,GRIDIRON GANG, COACH CARTER and RUDY.

Friends this is a pleasant movie and u have to watch for the great acting performance by Kamalhassan and Nagesh in particular.Infact Nagesh won the National award for the best supporing actress.There is a scene in this filn which was taken in one shot ,where nagesh comes to his house after hearing his daughter death.Really everyone will cry watching this scene.hats off to Nagesh.

I saw this film just to know, why the jury gave national award for prakash raj for his outstanding act in this film . Though i dont know malayalam, I understood the film by reading the english subtitles during the film.
story:---
This is the story happened in 1940's . In this movie praksh raj is a silk weaver and everyone in that village can't afford to buy a silk saree though they work for their life time.Prakash raj wants her wife to come to their village with a silk saree so he saves money from his childhood so that he can be the only person in the village who own's a silk saree. But, he cannot afford a silk saree at the time of his marriage.The money he saved was only half to buy a silk saree.So, he will give a promise to his daughter in the ear during her birth that he will buy a silk saree to her at the time of her wedding.
But, he gives that money to his sister to send her along with her husband.So,prakash raj starts to rob the silk threads from the silk factory where he is working,to fulfil his promise to his daughter .Prakash raj,also acted as Communist leader in this film.On one day Prakash raj gets caught while robbing the silk .he will be jailed for that and at last his daughter will die due to paralysis.This is the story of kanchivaram in a very short manner.
Performance:--
The acting of prakash raj was excellent.He acted very well as a communist leader and as a father.I think he was eligible to take national award for this film.His action during the climax was excellent.The other coactor named parthasarathy also acted well.This film has showed the life style of the silk weavers.
Technical Aspects:---
The direction was excellent.The taking of the film was good.The cinematography and the settings were very very natural.I will give a rating of 4 out of 5 for this film.overall this film was nice and should be watched to know the life style of the silk weavers in 1940's.i enjoyed watching this film..
