The Prestige-again the premise is good-and the twist is very well made.
Fight Club-its a cult classic deals with lot of themes..and both Ed Norton and Pitt own in this one..the twist again is unbeatable..Fincher's best and also the best work of fiction from Palhaniuk.
The Usual Suspects-films in Bolly have copied the theme but original as they say is the best..Kevin Spacey is very good in this along with a host of other actors..
The cinema came to India at the turn of this century. First films had no sounds. The Raj brought the cinematograph to India in 1896 and by 1901 we were making our own films. India at present produces the largest number of movies every year.
`Alam Ara’ was the first Indian talkie released in 1931. One of the earliest documentaries shot ``The Return of the wrangler parajpe’’, the celebration of a Maharashtrian who had earned up a top degree in mathematic at Cambridge. Then through the 20s and 30s to the 80s we have moved through social films, romance, entertainment, sex and violence. Changing small screen and palatial theatres to 70 M.M 3d (three dimensional films) and `surround sound’. The films have great impact on the tastes and attitude of the masses. The cinema is the most popular means of entertainment in our country. Invent and popularity of Television has been affecting the film industry badly. But inspire of that cinema has lost its importance.
Visit to a cinema show
I am not very fond of seeing films, but yesterday my brother and I went to see a beautiful picture called the ordeal Sita.
The show began at 6.15 P.M. we first had a charming song. All were quiet. The followed some pictorial advertisements. After came the names of actors and actresses who had taken part in the film. Then the actual show began.
First the banishment of Sita from the Royal place was shown. Lakshmana accompanied her out of Ayodhya. Her wails pierced our very hearts. Lakshmana returned, leaving her alone in a thick forest. Sita rook shelter in the cottage of Valmiki. There Lava and Kusa were born to her. Years of misery rolled away. The two boys grew up to be grown up to be strong and handsome warriors.
Then Rama was shown sitting in his place and pining for Sita. He wanted to perform the Asvamedha Yaga. The horse was let loose. Any king who caught the horse had to fight against Rama and his warriors.
The horse reached the place where Lava and Kusa lived. They caught the horse. They fought Rama’s warriors and defeated them. Rama himself came to fight them. Their strength and skill astonished him. He wondered why the two little boys resembled him so much in appearance. Soon he came to know that they were his own sons.
Rama wanted Sita to return to Ayodhya. She returned with Lava and Kusa. Sita’s presence was essential at the time of the performance of the Asvamedha Yaga. But the people of Ayodhya did not approve of Rama’s taking Sita back in his place. They thought Sita was impure. At that time a terrible storm arose. The earth burst open and swallowed up Sita. Thus came to and end the miseries of the pious Sita. I liked the film very much. I almost shed tears over the sufferings and miseries of the pious Sita.
