It has been rightly said, "Time and tide wait for none." Time is so precious that great men have compared it with life itself which neither can be borrowed nor bought. We can of course waste it but it cannot be regained for all the money in the world. Every moment of our life is invaluable.
All of us know the importance of time, but do we realise the vast amount of time we spend in waiting - Waiting at Airport, Railway Stations, Bus Stops, at the Doctor's Chambers, in a Queue of for a Friend?
Most of the time we are impatient, having to wait and just while away the time aimlessly, desperately wishing that the hands of the clock move faster. As time is the most valuable, we are indeed, "throwing away" the large amounts of precious time while waiting each day.
However, you can make waiting a pleasurable activity if you organize yourself and plan ahead. Many successful people have turned "lost" time into "found" time, and have utilized the waiting hours fruitfully to their advantage.
The first step for achieving this to change your attitude towards time.
Since waiting cannot be avoided at times, and the period one has to wait for may be beyond our control, it is no use looking at the watch after every few minutes adn getting irritated.
Instead consider it as a "gift" of "time", some extra, much needed-minutes to relax, gather your thoughts, plan or think over something.
Thus, time management is an art. And the more adept we are at it, the better off we are in our lives. It is a key to the ultimate happiness.
Time is irreplaceable and irreversible. The way we choose to spend our time, determines the quality of our lives.
Watch out! time is precious, so utilize it properly.
