(a)Difficulties on the part of superior
1.Absence of control
Lack of control that warns of coming troubles may also hinder the Delegation of authority
2 Lack of ability to direct
The superior may like to Delegate of authority but may not be able to do it because of his inability to identify & communicate the essential features of his plans
3 Fear of losing control
some managers may be unwilling to accept the risk that a subordinate may make a wrong decision.
superiors donot have faith in there subordinate & so they donot delegate
4 Fear of subordinate excellence
the delegator Fear that delegates aided by delegation may prove so capable that he or she will either threaten his job or qualify for promotion
