This is to apply theme based titles using simple but effective tools.
Procedure:
1.) Open a new document with Background color brown or to be precise- # 6c3528.
2.) Type a text (in this example, Tree) with
Font- ‘Georgia’ and Style-Regular
Size- 250pt and sharp effect.
Color- Black
Please note that this example is going to contain adjustments whose perfection is arrived only on trial basis. So, make as many copies and make each effect in a different copy rather than having all the effects in one layer.
3.) Create another copy of Text and keep the original for future reference. Name the new layer as Tree and right click the layer and Rasterize the layer.
The reason we have rasterized it is because we are going to apply Filter to it which would otherwise not be possible.
4.) Now select the rasterized layer and select, Filter menu > Liquify > Forward Warp Tool with Brush pressure (available at the right side in options ) set to 70.
Click the corners and drag them. Make the alphabet ‘T’ looks like it has got roots an branches.
Make adjustments to other alphabets also, using the forward warp tool so that all of them look alike and blend well.
You will have something like this for T.
5.) Now make copies if you want. Use the Brush tool and select any green shade and can also use milti green shades to have a good look.
Use-‘ Dry Brush Tip light Flow’ of size-63px for the top part where there are lot of leaves and use –‘Hard Pastel on canvas’ of size-33px at the bottom and corners.
6.) You can use small brush sizes and style- ‘Scattered Maple leaves’ for leaves and color- # c3970d. Again even for this, you can use multiple colors.
Use the brush around the text spreading to other alphabets also.
7.) Next, select the brush style- ‘Scattered leaves’ and use a brown color shade ant brush inside the Black colored Text.
You can first select the Black region by Magic wand tool and then use the brush for neat work.
