Animation Using Flash
WE ARE ANIMATING A BALL BY CHANGING ITS COLOUR, SIZE, SHAPE & POSITION USING FRAME TO FRAME TWEEN ANIMATION IS FLASH.
Flash is an industry for interactive graphics & animation for web, you create animation by changing the content of frame.
There are two methods for creating an animation sequence in flash.
- Frame by frame animation: Here you create the image in every frame. Flash store the value for each complete frame.
- Tweened animation: We creating starting & ending frame in b/w. Flash varies the obj. size color etc every b/w the starting & ending frames to create the appearance of movement flash stores value only for charge b/w frames key frame in frame where you define charge in animation. You define key frame at important in the animation. Let flash create the content of frame.
Creating frame by frame animation: To Creating frame by frame animation we have to follow certain shapes.
- Click on layer name to make it the current layer & select a frame in layer where you want to animation start.
- If the frame isn’t already a key frame, choose insert a key frame.
- Create image for first frame of seq. You can use the drawing tools or improve file.
- click the next frame to right in same now & insert frame.
- After the contents of frame on the stage to develop next.
- To complete frame by frame animation sequence, repeat step 4 &5.
- To test the animation sequence control& play or click button on controller.
Creating tweened animation: You can create motion tween using 2 methods:
- Create the starting & ending key frame for the animation & we use motion tween option in frame properties panel.
- Create the first key frame for the animation & then choose insert create motion tween & move the object to stage flash automatically create the ending key frame. Flash can’t tween the shape of group, text block , symbols or bitmap image use modify break apart to apply shape tweening to there elements.
To tween a shape:
Click a layer name to make it the current layer & select an empty key frame where you want to start animation.
- Create the image for first frame in sequence.
- Create a second key frame & hence the desired no of key frame after first frame.
- Create the image for last frame in seq.
- Choose window > panel > frame.
- For tweening select shape.
- Click & drag the arrow next to the easing value or enter the value to adjust the rate of change b/w two frames.
- To begin the shape tween, gradually accelerate the tween toward the end of animation dray the slider down or enter a value between -1 & -100.
- To begin shape b/w rapidly & deaccelerate the tween towards the end of animation dray the slide down & enter a value b/w 1 & 100.
7.To rotate selected item while tweening.
- Choose name to apply no rotation.
- Choose auto to rotate on in air with least motion.
8. If you are using a motion path, select orient to path to orient bare line of the tweened element to motion path.
9. Select synchronization to ensure that the loop & instance properly in the main movie.
10. If you are using a motion path, select swap to attach the tweened element to the motion path by its registration points.
