Now a days most commonly we see the formation of kidney stones.
Let us see what are these kidney stones?
First of all we should know what kidneys are?]
They are bean shaped organs which are located above the waist line and protected by ribs.
What kidney does?
Whatever water we take it helps in balancing all the water intake of ours.
Removes all the waste products.
They also produce different hormones.
Kidneys relation with urinary system?
Urinary system contains kidneys, ureters, bladder and the urethra.
Kidneys are part of the urinary system.
Kidneys remove all the waste products from the blood.
Now we will know what does a kidney stone mean?
Kidney stones are different in sizes which can be as small as dust particle to as large as tennis ball.
They may appear in any part of the urinary system.
Which are hard crystals or minute particles that come out from urine and build up inside the kidneys!
Why this happens?
Because of urinary tract infections.
Drinking little water.
Taking much amounts of vitamin c red meat and calcium.
Hyperthyroidism.
Bowel inflammation
Some symptoms
Severe pain in lower abdomen.
Pain may be with vomiting or nausea.
When person is having urinary tract infection occurrence of fever, chills, sweats also seen.
Sometimes blood in urine.
Some may not have any of the above symptoms and they can see the passage of stones in urine directly.
Who are affected?
Mostly we see in men than women and generally between the ages of 20 to 40 years.
Can be seen mostly in summer due to dehydration.
Prevention
If you find kidney stones in one of the kidney, it is said that it is most likely to be formed
In other kidney also so taking care in earlier stages helps in preventing.
Drink three liters of water daily.
Don’t take much of vitamin C
Don’t take much of calcium based products such as milk tea… etc.
Eat more of vegetables.
