Once there lived a poor prince named Raja in a small kingdom who wished to marry Emperor's daughter! She was so beautiful and intelligent. In a town, there lived a pigeon. She was considered to be the best messenger of the kingdom. She could carry the messages, letters ad packages of the people from one place to the other. The poor prince gave many rewards for her speed. So he sent a letter through pigeon.
Pigeon with letter, went to see the princess. On the way, she met a demon. The demon asked the pigeon where she was going. Demon, was first in love with the princess and that was a one sided love. So he decided not to allow pigeon to give the letter to princes. Demon caught hold of pigeon and took it to his home. He plugged her in a cage. The pigeon was so sad about that. She thought how to escape from the cage. The pigeon asked the demon. What is your desire? He replied that he desired to marry emperor's daughter. The pigeon said to him that she would help him in this matter. She asked him to release her from the cage.
The demon believed her words and released her from cage. She flew off with the letter of the poor prince Raja. She enjoyed a lot. When she was flying, one hunter saw the pigeon. The hunter wants to taste the pigeon. He had to remain hungry for so many days. He felt so bad about it. He felt too hungry at the moment. The hunter caught the pigeon and took it to his home. The pigeon got frightened. The pigeon felt too tired to escape. She prayed to the angel that was well known to her. Angel appeared before the pigeon. Angel was visible only to the pigeon. She asked the pigeon what she would do her for.
She requested her to save her life. The angel accepted her desire. The pigeon asked the hhunterwhat he desired. He replied that he needed good food. That is the only wish for this moment. He said. The pigeon said "I will arrange food for you then shall you release me". The hunter replied "Yes for sure". The angel learnt of her sorrow and brought her a variety of food items. The hunter was enchanted by the food that was given by pigeon.
The hunter allowed the pigeon to go. The pigeon was saved. The pigeon reached the emperor's place and met the princes and gave the letter. She was impressed by the letter of prince Raja. She was very happy and agreed to the marriage proposal. The prince married the princess and in due course, became the king of the big kingdom. He ruled the town wisely. He was a rich man now. Although, he never met the pigeon again, but he always remembered him. They all lived happily in the kingdom.
