Home Remedies for Diarrhea
Diarrhea is basically the passage of stools that are watery and loose. Sometimes it is accompanied by vomiting, stomach cramps, and fever. This condition usually occurs due to some viral or bacterial infection, food allergies, some problem in the digestive tract, and even at times, due to overeating. The condition can vary between being mild, acute, and chronic. If it has reached the chronic stage, then you need to consult your local physician immediately. As such, because of excessive lose of water through stools and vomiting, dehydration sets in very fast, leading to fatigue. The fatigue is increased further due to lose of vitamins and minerals that get thrown out of the body along with the water. Therefore, to curb diarrhea, and recover from it, all these factors will need to be taken into consideration. The first order of the day is to replace the lost water. However, do not drink plain water. Add a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of sugar to a bottle of water and keep sipping this water every few minutes. Ginger has natural properties that take care of muscle spasms and the subsequent pain. Add a piece of ginger to your tea each time you have it.
