The richest and the poorest families are Indians!

I agree with you Harish,
There is something wrong in our economic policies.
Rich are becoming richer, & poor don't even get enough to eat.

I think imposing more tax from rich, and utilizing it to correct this problem would make the situation better.

The Government must take urgent measure to improve the living conditions of the poorest. Mahatama Gandhi the father of nation had righly commented that any policy that does not consider the most downtrodden is not worth. As regards the richest, They are leaders of industrial groups. They do not actually use all the wealth that tecnically belongs to them. Most of the assets are factory buildings, machinery and capital invested in business that are not used for personal consumption. The industrialists help in economic development and create production and employment for people. We should not look negatively at wealth of the rich industrialists.

Yes,you are right.Today because of wrong policies rich people are getting more rich and poor people are getting more poor.Under the name of economic development we forget the poor and needy.Nothing much is done for the upliftment of poor and the money alloted to them get diverted for something else.Unless this is not seriously looked into,India cannot fulfill the dream of becoming a super power.
