I think the answer is 5. Even though the frog died it is still in the well :)
P.S. This answer is based on the previous puzzle posted by amit. Hope it is correct :)

reason given by mean is right that is my reason also if 5 frog is there one died then that frog still in well so there is 5 frog.

after some time when his body destroyed then 4 will remain.
