Chidambaram blames immigrants

Delhi is notorious for crimes against women, murders etc. Union Home minister has blamed immigrants particularly from U.P. and Bihar for this. He soon withdrew his statement in view of severe retorts.

The question is- who is immigrant in Delhi. There are almost no original Delhites. Most of the Delhi residents are Punjabi refugees. Others are from adjoining states. This is very different from Mumbai where Marathi speaking are original.
