Passport is the identification document issued by the government of a country.

Visa is a permission for a non citizen to travel through a particular country.

Pass port is given by a government to own citizens as against Visa which is given to others through embassies. Thus an Indian citizen gets passport from Govt. of India whereas visa is given by foreign embassies. Passport is basic document on which visa is affixed. China is making exception in case of j & K and Arunacha Pradesh inhabitants who are given visa on a separate paper and then stapled to passport. This is a matter of controversy between India and china.
China has agreed to review issuing staple visa to j & K inhabitants.

It is good to know that china is reviewing..Thanks for sharing Gulshan.. :)
Without passport we cannot get visa. Now a days visa people are very careless about the people who come for visa. the visa people will misplace the passports and waste our time , they wont even inform us that they lost out passport. this is really ridiculous.

The real problem with china is regarding Arunachal Pradesh. still China considers this territory as hers.
