TIP 1:
Keeping a small piece of asafoetida in the same container of storing chilli powder, it will keep chilli powder fresh for long time.
TIP 2: To remove the skin of almonds easily, soak them in hot water for 15-20 minutes.

TP 3: Putting 3-4 cloves in sugar container will keep the ants at bay.

Tip 4: Smearing a little castor oil to the pulses and legumes while storing will keep the boll weevils away!

TIP 5:
If you keep a piece of blotting paper at the bottom of the container, it will keep biscuits fresh for a longer time.

TIP 6:
You can use dried coriander and mint leaves in coarse powder form in vegetable curry or chutney, if fresh ones are not available. To keep them fresh for longer time, wrap them in a muslin cloth and keep in a fridge.

OK...So here is mine

Tip 7: Put one or two pepper seeds in coconut oil to keep it from getting bad.
My tip is "If any vessel or knife is smelling of garlic rub it with salt and wash it in cold water".
Tip 9 Lemons remain fresh by soaking them in cold water for an hour everyday.
Tip Ten: For easy make of curd just drop two or three lemon drops to some milk and wait for two hours.

TIP 11:
To make the milk curdling process fast, add a piece of red chilly to the bowl to make the curd(in milk).
Tip 12"

To make the fridge fragrant keep a piece of lemon always in fridge.
Tip 13 "For crisp dosas add few grains of dry fenugreek seeds while grinding rice."

Yes Abid, fenugreek seeds does give crispness to dosas and also improves nutritional value due to iron in the seeds,.
