Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy, who will take over as the 16th chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, was once a cricketer and played for Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy tournament.
The 50-year-old Kiran Reddy is presently the speaker of the state legislative assembly, will be sworn in as the new chief minister by Governor ESL Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan.

Now the rift in Congress is getting alarming. There is demand for resignation of Sonia Gandhi as congress chief. it is allged that under her leadership congress cannot win elections.
