Murder accused to get best legislator award

Criminals are now common in our politics.They will get rewards also !!

Award as best legislator is for legislative activities and has nothing to do with any criminal activities for which competent court will punish.

Hope due to this award he may change his attitude and avoid doing bad activities :huh:

I wonder how is he entitled for a award after committing the crime of murdering a government official?

In the present murky political scenario it absolutely in the fitness of things!!

If you go through post graduate exam successfully, you will get a degree even if you have killed some one. Similarly, the legislator gave good performance in legislature and he got the award even though he murdered some one.

It means the performance award is given not considering other sides.

I think such a legalistic take would be disastrous! A legislator and a murderer are two poles apart!
