Student pushed off roof by seniors in Bankura two third year students Deepak Kumar and Anish Kumar Sharma on November 16, Institute Principal Sajal Kumar Sanyal said.
Yesterday we have two such cases of ragging reported in West Bengal and what is particularly disturbing is that some engineering girl students are involved!
In most of the cases the college authorities are blameworthy.I am shocked that a victim cut her wrist fatally in a bid to commit suicide and it was not even informed to th police authrities!

College administration should invariably be held responsible for every incident of ragging and strictest action be taken. Ragging cannot be eliminated by mere words of advice.
Well chinmoy the act of ragging was previously intended for something else and now its meaning has been completely changed..they are some strict actions taken by some educational institution which somewhat reduced the cases for sometime but now itseem the pressure has decreased.
When the punishments are made severe the cases of ragging will surely come down. The students involved in ragging should not be allowed to take up the upcoming examinations. They should be suspended or debarred.
