India pak peace talks

No. We must neither fear to negotiate nor negotiate out of fear. Dialogue is good even without outcome.

What is the harm? All these years we have talked,talked and talked!!!

The peace talks between the two countries should continue.One day the snow will melt.

At the moment snows are not showing any signs of a melt!!!

Very nice comment. One day snow will melt. As Ex P.M. Atal Bihari Vajpayee had remarked- we cannot change neighbor. Pakistan is our neighbor and ultimately, we have to make peace. India and Pakistan attained independence in 1947. A period of 63 years has passed. Now bitterness between two countries is far less than in fifties or sixties. We may hope that when only young generation born after fifties is left, the relations will be best as the bitterness of the Partition in 1947 will totally fade.

India does want talks but Pakistan must take steps to end cross border terrorism. This is an obstacle to meaningful talk.

The ground reality is that when the other side does not come to the table with a clean pair of hands there can not be any meaningful dialogue!

the wounds of 1947 partition will dry up and we will be a good friend to them.Hope so.

Let us be pragmatic enough to appreciate the finer points of Indo-Pak relationship. Pakistan ,I mean Pak establishment has not yet changed it anti-India mindset and as long as it remains active I don't foresee any progress in this regard.

Well we are waiting for that day when the links become good.

When Pakistan realises the futility of carrying on such hostile activities then we can expect some real progress!

Should America be involved strongly in this matter ? Pakistan is in no mood to accept its wrong claim over Kashmir.

I don't think india should not continue peace talk untill and unless,pakistan gives the answer to end terrorism. Its not easy to do,thats true but they need to take extreme action towards it. India should not tolerate any sort of terrorism from pakistan. India should give the answer to them strongly in any form. I don't support war,but some sort of heavy answer should be given,to put a huge pressure to pakistan,so that they have to take action against terrorism.

Pakistan won't end terrorism to India ever. The power is originally in the hands of the army there and Indian Government can talk to the Government only. So Government is a puppet and it cannot do any thing unless it gains power over army too.
