Coalition politics to blame?

The BJP has stressed that coalition politics is the cause of UPA government's scams. But coalition is inevitable in view of weaknesses of the two main parties. Incidentally, besides any other shortcomings, coalition governments led by third front or United Front were free from scams. It seems that scams are integral part of congress and BJP.

The left parties also consists of members who are brought up and schooled same way as others. Hence, they cannot be drastically different from others. But they are more honest. contrast with Congress in Maharashtra and BJP in Karnataka.

In Center, they had many opportunities to share power but they refused. Other parties just struggle for getting more shares in the loot. However, the real reason for staying out from power at center is that they are not strong enough to play a dominant role.
But havn't you heard the disclose of Jyothi Basu that abstaining from the centre administration was a Himlayan blunder.

I know Jyoti Basu statement. He favored joining the Union cabinet. But the majority of the party was against joining. The majority view is accepted in a party that is built on internal democracy unlike congress where will of Sonia Gandhi prevails.
The more the parties grow, the more the scams grow in India and in any other contries
it is the sharing of power in which different interests are democratically accommodated.
