I don't think that anybody purifier is 100% safe,so,as my purifier.
Metro water contains chlorine and dust metals, so water purifier is better then Metro or ground water

Marketing Challenge

One company challenges you that if you find any other in-home water purifier which meets all these safety criterias, then Pureit will offer you Rs. 1 Crore.

yes i have seen this AD many times in tv....it claims 100% germ free water....thanks karthikeyan for sharing more information and link.....
I think 100% is impossible as some times floride and other minerals completely can not be remove..I have tasted the water purified by PURE IT which is bitter in taste...
The sources of water are getting polluted everyday and the future too looks very bleak. In the days days to come the situation might get even worse unless concerted actions are taken!
At our place chorine is mixed for purification which is been added excessively and traces of floride has been noticed..but still no action is taken....

We use Eureka Forbes purifier which is also considered the best in market but i dont know whether it is working or not...The desire for drinking water has been reduced and we often forcefully drink water.. :(

Stomach problems also has been reported previously, however the reason is not know.. :)
Thanks for the link. Strong immunity is most important. We have to travel to different places and it is not feasible to carry own water everywhere. The local bodies should ensure healthy potable water supply in their jurisdiction and the need for personal water purifiers should be eliminated. The poorest can not avail the luxury of expensive water purifiers the quality of which is also doubtful. These companies are thriving thanks to neglect of duty by local bodies.
I don't use any water purifier in my house. We are taking drinking water from our own well and drink it so raw!

Use of water purifier is recent phenomenon. It is natural to draw water from well and drink it raw. But I suggest that boil the water and filter it through some soft cloth. The water will be safe to drink.
As gulshan suggested it is always good to drink water after boiling it.
I agree that most puritfied form of water is available underground or water passing through mountains...they are sweet to taste and are pure..but while reaching household contamination happens..

I don't think water purifier are 100% safe since i suffered from juandice last month when i m using a water purifier at home...
I used to drink boiled water. But now am using raw water because according to naturopathy boiled water is dead water!
Oh! Good tips on naturophy.Thanks for sharing,Abid. :) :) :)
I don't think that any purifier is 100% safe, all is dependent on what their manufacturer say and mainly on brand name
I agree with ABID .. :) Water minerals will be destroyed if boiled..which are gift of nature..
