The knowledge that all humans have same spirit and are made up of same clay is common. However, this knowledge has not been successful in eliminating wars and violence from this planet and we have witnessed a seemingly unending history of wars. The damage to the human race during these wars led only to newer techniques of warfare under the pretext of creating defence forces for already powerful nations. The world has also helplessly seen the use of these weapons in unethical terrorist violence across the globe in the last few decades.read more

Humanity is same but religion is dividing force. Time to time, there have been attempts to integrate religions. Akbar did so through Din-e-Ilehai and Annie Beasant through theosophical society of India. But these do not help. Only logical and scientific approach can help.

I agree. In fact, universal brotherhood is natural but religious prejudices divide us. We need to recognize our identity as human beings and not allowed to be used as pawn by religion fanatics.
Well said Nagalakshmi, the main problem is no one are implementing that which is many reason for the todays terrorism and religious wars.
Peace is essential for making life worth living! We have wars one too many!
I think technology is first tested globally in wars as there is no question there.
