Publish and Unpublish???What is this???

The option allows you to remove the polls that you have created. You can use this option to unpublish the polls for whatever the reason like spelling mistakes etc.

out of curiosity i clicked the option "un publish"..now i want that poll to be published once again..please tell me how i can do that.in 'my polls' page the poll is shown as rejected...
So should i create the poll once more or is there any option to republish it?

Sorry MC. I do not know what you can do now. Since it is a new feature, not many members can answer you correctly. Only the moderator can guide you correctly. Is Your poll seen in the Polls section, even though rejected ?

yes.its seen in "My Polls" option.i will explain.you know that when we take the 'My Polls' option from 'My Account' we get the list of our polls with poll title,category,votes and status.Now i have the status for un publish poll as red x mark.when i keep the cursor in that red x mark it shows rejected!.also the number of votes is zero, obviously because its not published.
So its there intact,but no option for republish.!

i am trying to find a single button to republish it.I think i can post it again by typing the whole thing,but still that poll remain intact in "My Polls" list.So i want to know what to do with it!

Hello MC.Yes, The status will be seen in My Polls list.
But, what i am asking is if that poll is available under the Poll SECTION along with polls submitted by others.

And also, there would obviously not be a Re-submit button, as the main purpose is to remove polls, say for example repeated by mistake etc. But again, i am not sure if we would be allowed to submit the same poll again, once rejected.

No anusha..its not there.obviously it disappeared after clicking un publish button..what do you think.Should i start a new thread for moderator to see?or will i get a reply in this thread itself?

Un-publish means 'delete'...
This feature has been introduced for deleting the polls that are claimed to havebeen posted due to the mistake of internet.

Since you said, the poll is not found in the list so it might have been deleted. So may be posting it again will not be considered as duplication and might be allowed.

It is only my assumption and can not guarantee you though.
