India, Malaysia announce comprehensive economic pact

India and Malaysia Wednesday announced the conclusion of negotiations on the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA), saying it would take the bilateral engagement to new heights.

It is really a good initiative.I think they should discuss more about visa related issues.
India needs to maintain very close ties with that country in all spheres as we have many people of Indian origin living in that country!
Many Indians are working in Malsia.So any bilateral pact will benefit them.
There is considerable presence of Indiansin the capital city of Kualalampur of that country.And Indians have been working in various fields to promote development!
Good initiative and i hope we always offer friendly relations with other country..but it is their decision whether to accept or not...and mostly ever country including pakistan has to accept..
As Abid stated many Indians are working in Malaysia.So,a mutually beneficial relationship is always preferred.
I think Malasia has similar working environment and climate of India.That is why more Indians are there.
