What is Gossip?

We all indulge in idle talk and enjoy. I like gossip. But one must be conscious of the true nature of gossip and not take it seriously. Most people like gossip otherwise they would not indulge. This is true that they claim they they do not like gossip. This is sheer hypocrisy. This is just like many denying interest in pornography but secretly enjoying it.

This is true Gulshan, most people enjoy gossip but deny doing so!! I personally have no qualms accepting that I enjoy occasional gossip as long as its not malicious or halrful for anyone!!

Gossip is even regarded as a potent channel of informal communication by the management gurus!

That is true Chinmoy!! Gossip is especially very helpful to assess the general feelings of the workforce when anticipating major changes at the workplace!!

This is very true. Gossip is known in Army as Lunger News. The soldiers gossip while taking dinner and hence so called.

Everybody likes to gossip but don't accept it.....
Ladies are very much well known for gossiping....

I have seen many men gossiping about women boss in office balconies.I think men and women both gossip. :)
