I could not see the link. Apparently, the entire environment including rivers are endangered owing to pollution and other factors emanating from mindless industrialization and so called development.

I too could no find the link but without doubt most of the rivers are under threat, especially because of tonnes of chemical wastes and sewage wastes that are released into numerous water bodies! It is alarming news!

It is a fact that most of the rivers are under threat.I don't understand why people misuse rivers as a dumping place.
